Raised by Wolves Season 2 Release date, Trailer and Plot

Raised by Wolves, which started airing on September 3, became the most watched original production of HBO Max in a short time. The series is produced by Ridley Scott, who brought unforgettable movies such as Blade Runner, Alien, Thelma & Louise and Gladiator to the world of cinema. The production, signed by Raidley Scott, began airing on HBO Max on September 3, 2020 with its first 3 episodes and attracted great attention from the audience. The details of season 2 and the release date of the series, whose ratings are rapidly increasing, have already begun to be wondered. Has the series been renewed for the second season?

Will there be a season 2 of Raised by Wolves?” is the most asked question by fans nowadays. Good news for the fans of the series: The series, which received the second season approval from HBO Max and announced it to its fans on Twitter, will be in front of the audience for at least one more season. The early renewal for this production, which soon became the most original series of HBO Max, was not surprising.

The second season approval was inevitable when the series, which was created by Aaron Guzikowski, who is also the scriptwriter of the Denis Villeneuve movie, Prisoners, received positive reviews from the audience. As a matter of fact, HBO Max acted without wasting time and officially approved the season 2 of the series, which made an impressive start to its journey on the screens.

What will be the Raised by Wolves Season 2 Plot?

Directed by Ridley Scott in its first two episodes, the series focuses on two androids tasked with raising children on a planet where humans are just starting out. The growing colonies are on the brink of division due to religious fights. These androids realize that controlling people’s beliefs is much more difficult than they expected.

Although Ridley Scott did not write the script for Raised by Wolves or direct all episodes of the first season, he leads the series in shaping. Likewise, the master director, who played an active role in the preparation of the 2nd season, announced that they started the preparations for the 2nd season. Stating that they started to shape season 2 with Aaron Guzikowski, Scott said that they are preparing another great season that will stimulate your imagination.

When will Raised by Wolves Season 2 air on HBO Max?

The question marks remain unanswered for the second season of the series, whose preparations have started and received the approval of Season 2. Whether there is a date planned for the new season, unfortunately, was not shared by HBO Max yet. However, preparations need at least 1.5 more years to complete. This expensive and labor-intensive production is much similar to HBO’s TV shows such as Game of Thrones (GOT new series announced!) and Westworld (Season 4 release date). In this direction, it seems that a period of about 2 years is needed to be back on screen. We expect the series to return to the screens in the summer of 2022.

Hello, this is Kadir. I am the lead author of the blog you are reading. My fondness for TV series and Anime made me a good researcher about the release dates. I like to share my researches and analyses on the blog.

  1. A complete ‘what was what happened’ series. Though it was cruel to decide on this with a season, the last episodes were boring, and the season finale was the kind of thing that made you say ‘what’s the relevance now’. I get the same reactions from those who have released the news to watch from the first episode. I cannot find the motivation to wait and watch the second season beyond.

  2. I recommend you to read the mythology (narratives) of Christianity in order to understand the snake-like existence and similar things (hearing a sound in the head, etc.) in the last episode.

  3. I finished the series. Frankly, I wouldn’t say I liked it after the 8th episode; everything was fine before. Ridley Scott was unsure whether he shot a science fiction series or a theological fantasy series. Still, in case the series will be renewed for a second season, I will keep watching.

  4. After the apocalypse, I like post-apocalyptic productions where the technology is declining, but I have still wondered since it was announced.

    Spoiler begins

The isolation, loneliness, boring environment in the first episode, and the music in the part where the man was lying on the operating table in the second episode put me on a terrible trip. I think I watched it at a difficult time.

Flashback scenes in the world are better. In fact, those scenes alone would have been enough for me.

It’s interesting how these hovering, screaming, bulletproof robots lost the war. Hanging in the air seemed familiar to me from somewhere. I’m going to say fallout, I guess.

    Robot sister is really troubled.
