When is the second season of Fate: The Winx Saga?

In its declaration about when season 2 will begin, Netflix announced that filming for the second season will begin in Ireland in late 2021. In this season, fans will be given extra two one-hour episodes. There’s no exact word yet on when the release date of Fate: The Winx Saga season 2 will be, but we expect it to air in early 2022 as the good news has already been announced, and there are producers’ ongoing plans about the show. Season 1 was released in January, and we can guess a similar date around for the second season.

What is the plotline of the second season?

At the end of the first season, Bloom released Rosalind, and everything started to fade in Alfea College. Silva was detained for attempted murder. Rosalind now excels at Alfea, relying on her belief that the faculty and, therefore, the students will line up in front of her. According to Rosalind, while The Burned Ones pales in comparison to what lies ahead, war is on the horizon. In the second season, we will watch the changed version of Bloom. Bloom and her fairy magic will be the key to solving problems in the new season. We learned that Sky’s father, Andreas is still alive. The relationship between Sky and Andreas will be one of the highlights of next season.

In season two, we will be able to watch the same main cast with Cowen, Mustapha, Westhuysen, Applebaum, and Salt. The new characters’ names will be announced later. Brian Young returns as showrunner and executive producer for season two. Along with him, Archery Pictures’ Judy Counihan and Kris Thykier, Rainbow’s Cristiana Buzzelli, and Joanne Lee are also continuing their second season as executive producers.
