Dr. Stone is a Japan-made anime manga series which is written by Riichiro Inagaki. Nowadays, fans are curious about the release date and the plotline of the beloved anime series’ 2nd season. What happened in the first season and what is the anime about?
In 2017, the world was dragged into a disaster. All humanity has turned into stone sculptures. Petrified people do not die unless they are broken. After 3700 years, a high school student named Ishigami Senku woke up for first. Senku is an intelligent young man interested in science in his life before his petrifying, is hardworking and wants to go to space, do scientific studies, and try to launch model rockets on his own. Due to the passing of 3700 years, no social structure has remained in the world.
There is neither a house ruin nor an item left. Humanity has declined for 2 million years, and Senku is the only one alive. Senku realizes that he is the first person to survive from petrifying and begins to investigate the reason. When he finds a solution, he saves his best friend from terrifying. While Senku is doing things that require intelligence, his friend Taiju takes the legwork. Taiju wants to awaken Yuzuriha, with whom Senku is in love. But on the way, they are attacked by lions.
A stone statue there attracts their attention. He is the most powerful high school student named Tsukasa. The students, who think that he can stop the lions, leave Yuzuriha to a corner and wake Tsukasa. It happens as they think, and Tsukasa neutralizes lions with their bare hands. They also awaken Yuzuriha after Tsukasa.
With Tsukasa, he will protect them from wild animals and have a master friend in hunting. Security and food needs are now more effective. But soon, Tsukasa and our hero fall into disagreements and fight a war to kill each other.
Dr. Stone had received the title of the best heroine from the 2019 Crunchyroll anime awards.
Will there be a 2nd season of Dr. Stone?
The answer is Yes! The anime creators confirmed the second season after the last episode of the first season. The producers have started preparing for season 2. According to the summary of the predictions, season 2 will show us some sparring of both the Kingdom of science and Tsukasa’s empire. We may able to see the returning of Taiju and Yuzuriha in 2nd season of Dr. Stone. Besides, the series will cover up the Stone Wars arc from the manga as well.
