Deca Dence is an original anime series released in 2020 in the action and sci-fi genre. What is the plotline of the Deca Dence?
Years have passed since humanity faced the danger of extinction with the emergence of unknown life forms of Gadolls. The people who survived this danger now live in Deca-dence, a 3000-meter-high fort they built to protect themselves from the Gadoll threat. At a time when people are almost extinct, when we consider what they can do to defend themselves against giant creatures, the first thing that comes to mind for all of us is to build a giant castle. Especially when this is a mobile castle with 3,000-meter-high walls, the Deca-Dence people’s burden is slightly reduced. Culturally, it is an important source of pride for the Japanese to unite and fight together against a great and powerful enemy.
Deca-dence’s inhabitants, on the other hand, are divided into two: Gears fighting the Gadolls daily and Tankers without combat skills. One day, tanker Natsume, burning with her dream of becoming a Gear, meets Deca-dence’s armor mechanic, Kaburagi. While Natsume is a girl who has a positive attitude to life and has not given up on her dreams, Kaburagi is a realistic boy who has already given up her dreams. The chance meeting of these two opposing poles will eventually shake the course of the world.
Will there be a second season of Deca Dence?
